Reserva Valle Hermoso
- KM 45.9 -
Carretera Austral, Patagonia Verde
A hidden sanctuary at the northern gateway of Patagonia.
Fifteen hectares of native forest, mountain views, and the sound of pure water.
A place to reconnect with nature, savor organic food, and live the rhythm of the land.
The Reserva
Located under the shadow of the extinct volcano Cerro La Silla, Reserva Valle Hermoso was born from a dream to bring traditional Patagonian farm life and modern sustainability together.
Surrounded by forests, fjords, and rivers, this 15-hectare reserve offers a private retreat where comfort meets authenticity. Each room and lodge is hand-built with local materials, heated by wood ovens, and designed to harmonize with the landscape.
Our philosophy is simple: offer privacy, personalized service, and genuine connection to nature. Guests can explore at their own rhythm — trekking through ancient woods, kayaking in nearby coves, cycling along the Carretera Austral, or relaxing by the fire as fresh bread comes out of the oven.
Every stay is tailored by our small, international team, ensuring your visit is intimate, exclusive, and unforgettable.
The Cafe
At the heart of the reserve lies our small café, where everything begins with the land.
Bread and pastries are baked daily in a traditional wood oven. Vegetables, fruits, and herbs come from our own greenhouse and permaculture garden. The menu celebrates local, organic ingredients, from fresh seafood and river trout to homemade cheeses and seasonal produce.
The result is a simple, honest cuisine that honors the flavors of Patagonia, shared around the warmth of the oven and the calm of the valley.
Sustainability & Conservation
Reserva Valle Hermoso is more than a destination — it’s a living project of conservation and renewal.
- We process and reuse 100% of our water and organic waste through natural filtration systems that sustain a lagoon filled with trout, ducks, and native species.
- Our farm operates under permaculture principles, respecting the cycles of the land.
- Energy comes from renewable sources; heat from the wood ovens.
- Every activity, from farming to hospitality, is designed to protect the forest, wildlife, and culture of Patagonia Verde.
We are committed to being a model for sustainable tourism in the region, where human presence nurtures, rather than harms, the natural world.
